How To Clean Up a Frame

Lollipop Caught Moonlighting

We're just taking things day - by - day right now. We're not sure "why" she did it...she really doesn't need the money. We think she might have issues with getting older...some vanity possibly. Things have gotten a bit chilly with her lately.

The bottom line is that we're just trying to create a loving environment, and let her know that she truly can tell us "anything." More to follow...

Emmett vs. Wild

I watch a lot of "Man vs. Wild" with the boys, and it appears to be paying off. Aside from eating furry North American tarantulas, drinking your own urine, and boiling dead elk meat in a sulphur spring, we've learned a few life-saving techniques of our own.

For example: if you are sent to bed early, and in your angst, have twisted your body 180 degrees and can't find your pillow...go ahead and use a fluffy kitty. Particularly one with a good disposition (and one that's very very tired), however, any fat cat will do.

Good job Emmett! Now you're ready for your next extreme adventure: brushing your teeth after breakfast...

Remembering Linda...

ON THE DAY I DIE
by Jelaluddin Rumi

On the day I die, when I'm being carried
toward the grave, don't weep. Don't say,

He's gone! He's gone. Death has nothing
to do with going away. The sun sets and

the moon sets, but they're not gone.
Death is a coming together. The tomb

looks like a prison, but it's really
release into union. The human seed goes

down in the ground like a bucket into
the well where Joseph is. It grows and

comes up full of some unimagined beauty.
Your mouth closes here and immediately

opens with a shout of joy there.

New Year's Eve

A simple celebration; way too much food, including caviar from Dahl's, cream cheese, and blinis hot off the griddle...a particularly bad idea (tastes horrid), a bunch of kids, good company, dominoes and a little Mexican Train.

I started yawning at 9:00am...was laughing uncontrollably up until 12:00midnight, said Happy New Year to my friends, kissed my wife and headed to bed after a rough 12 months.

Thank you God for 2007. I pray that 2008 is just as amazing, and full of service to You.

Happy New Year!
